Patrisha Reece-Davies Ph.D left school aged 15 with few qualifications and no 'further education'.  Despite this, she had an interesting and varied early career  in industry, retail and service industries including running a franchise in a major department store and working on advertisement features for newspaper groups in the home counties and the east midlands.

These experiences led her to set up her own office in the mid 1980s, offering market research for small businesses and individual entrepreneurs with tight budgets.
The needs of one of her clients resulted in a detailed study of the scrap tyre problem in
the UK and liaison with the Department of Trade and Industry as well as  major
tyre manufacturers, environmentalists and tyre disposal experts in the USA.
Her findings were solicited - and her report extensively quoted - by consultants
commissioned to report on the problem for HM Government.

She spent ten years in the music industry as personal assistant to a media
consultant and worked on concerts and tours featuring leading UK and American touring artistes.  As well as reinforcing an interest in singing and songwriting which she had nurtured for some years, this period triggered a lasting interest in contract law.

In 1992, Patrisha decided that it was time to consolidate her experiences by gaining formal qualifications - and after an intensive year of 'A'level study, secured a place at De Montfort University to study law and marketing.

Since 2001 she has taught 'A' level Law to high school students throughout the UK and continues to write fantasy fiction and extend her research in law. She lives in a country cottage in Cambridgeshire with her husband and their two cats, Kato and Rufus.
